But well, I did, for 18 months, working.
The city was Wuhan, an enormous city, which is actually not a favorable place to live in for me.
But then again, I miss it sometimes. The people were surprisingly nice, I mean, the colleagues.
This was the place where I worked and lived. Good hotel with a reasonable price, I have to say...
It's a Novotel, so dont worry about the standard. It's all good.
We had guests like Edinson Cavani, Diego Forlan, Luis Suarez, Marcello Lippi, etc etc.
Wuhan is separated into three districts, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang.
Normally when you visit Wuhan you will only be around Wuchang and Hankou.
WUHAN on WIKI
So anyway here are some things you might enjoy in Wuhan...
The Yellow Crane Tower.
Crane as in the animal...
Theres actually not too many things to do there, but you can see most part of the city from there.
Jiang Han Road.
The place to shop or to dine... with all the classic building, and very the wide walking plaza.
The East Lake
You can walk around it... if you have the energy and the time... or you can also ride the bicycle.
The Riverside.
The Riverside is my favorite place to take a walk... filled with parks and wide walk path.
Normally people would do sports there. Or even traditional dancing.
The Food.
Re Gan Mian.
This is MY FAVORITE FOOD for breakfast.
It is noodle with sesame paste. GOOD AND CHEAP.
Ma La Tang
The idea is like shabu shabu in Japanese, which you take anything you want, and boil them in a seasoned and normally spiced soup. Meat balls, sausages, crabrolls, noodles, veggies, tofu, etc.
Well... I know not everyone has this city on their list, but nevertheless... It's not too bad at all.
